It’s that time of year again where we choose a select few to represent area high schools as the Senior Rep for Essence of Light Photography.   Being a Senior Rep is really fun and easy!  We are looking for stylish, outgoing  Juniors who love to be in front of the camera and want to help spread the word about Essence of Light Photography!  We only accept one 1 student  per high school in Corning, Elmira, Bath, Watkins Glens, and Campbell area.  So be sure to apply early!  Your application will be reviewed and if you are selected to be a Rep, you will receive access to our Senior Rep Program which will give you all the fabulous details!  Earn COOL stuff like Visa Gift Cards, Free Prints, Albums, and IPods.  Applications will be accepted until February 28, 2010.  We will select and notify you by March 15, 2010.

Wow!  We have been super busy this past month and I am in sock that is is December 11 already.  Website has been updated and next on the list is the blog.

What a great day it was last Sunday!  Weather turned out to be decent enough to get outside for our ever popular 1/2 sesson at the studio and 1/2 session at a local park or outdoor location within a 5 minute drive of the studio.  Here are some of my favorites! 

Tyler came to visit us for a session.  We got talking about  school when I found out he is planning on taking Photography and Art next year at Corning Community College!  I let him know that CCC offers a GREAT program for people interested in Photography, Graphic Design, Web Design, and Fine Arts.   Good luck Tyler with the rest of your school year and enjoy your pictures!

One of my regulars stopped by for a mini session. I can’t believe he is getting so big!  He has proven to be one of my tougher guys to photograph.  Being a boy, he doesn’t like to sit =)  After some playing and then stepping outside in the tiny backyard behind the studio, we were able to get a few good shots.  I can’t wait to see them again for Christmas pictures.
